Window Seat Cushion for Cats & Dogs — Custom Size, Washable & Durable

Your cat or dog already picked the window. The problem is that clip-on perches and foam hammocks come in one size, and none of them fit an actual window seat, bay window, or bench.

We build a window seat cushion for cats and dogs to your exact measurements, with the foam firmness and the fabric you choose, so the cushion fills the ledge and your pet has a steady, supportive place to stretch out and watch the outdoors.

Why customers choose us:

• Exact fit: any length, width, and depth for a windowsill, a bench, or an angled bay window
• Seat and back together: order a matching backrest so your pet can lean and look out in comfort
• Supportive foam: high-density foam holds its shape under daily naps instead of flattening into a thin pad
• Washable covers: removable zippered covers unzip for easy cleaning when fur and paw prints build up
• Pet-tough fabric: tightly woven, scratch-resistant, and fade-resistant, chosen to last with a cat or dog on it every day

Give your pet the sunniest seat in the house, sized to the window they already love. Send us the measurements and we will handle the rest.

This is a custom window seat cushion for cats and dogs, made for the pets who always claim the best seat in the house: the window. Cats and dogs both gravitate to a sunny ledge where they can nap in the warmth and watch birds, cars, and the yard instead of lying on the floor all day. Most store-bought perches come in one fixed size and never fit a real window seat, so we build this one to your exact ledge.

Perfect for:

• A sunny custom bay window cushion where your cat suns itself and watches the yard
• A built-in window seat or bench your dog uses to watch the street and wait for you
• A narrow windowsill ledge that needs a thin, firm kitty sill cushion
• A reading nook window seat you and your pet share
• A sunroom, catio, or enclosed porch bench where pets lounge and birdwatch
• An entry or mudroom bench by a window, sized to the pet that naps there

You can order the seat on its own or add a matching back cushion, and every piece is cut to your measurements so it fits the ledge edge to edge with no gaps your pet can slide into. Not sure how to measure? Follow our window seat measuring guide.

This cushion fits built-in window seats, bay window benches, windowsill ledges, storage benches, and sunroom or catio benches. Order a seat cushion alone or add a matching back cushion, all cut to your exact size.

A pet's window seat takes sun all day, plus claws, fur, and the occasional muddy paw. The fabric matters more here than on a cushion people just sit on, so we steer pet owners toward tightly woven, easy-clean options that hold up and still feel soft.

All fabrics are:

• Fade and UV resistant, so a sun-facing seat keeps its color season after season
• Tightly woven and scratch-resistant, which stands up to claws far better than a loose or looped weave
• Easy to clean: fur brushes off and spills wipe up instead of soaking in
• Moisture and odor resistant, so naps, drool, and damp paws do not linger
• Available in many colors and patterns to match the room, not just the pet

For an indoor pet window seat we usually recommend a tightly woven chenille or a brushed polyester for a soft, durable surface, or a marine-grade performance fabric when the seat gets strong sun or the odd wet paw. Tell us your pet and your room and we will point you to the ones that wear best. Loose, looped, or delicate fabrics snag on claws, so we guide you away from those.
