For indoor cushions, the priority is precise fit, fabric texture, color, and comfort — weather resistance is less critical than it is outdoors, which opens up a broader range of materials. Velvet and linen-look weaves work well for living rooms, bedrooms, and reading nooks where softness and appearance matter most. Stain-resistant performance fabric and easy-wipe upholstery weaves are the better choice for kitchen banquettes, dining benches, and entryway seats that see daily contact and occasional spills.
