If your lobby sees 50+ visitors daily, bags and luggage frequently sit on the bench, and staff needs to wipe surfaces down quickly, choose Outdoor fabric. It's rated at 5,000x abrasion resistance on the Martindale scale and handles daily cleaning without fading. The look is more utilitarian than Velvet, but it lasts longer under heavy traffic. White in your design: sublimation can't print white. White areas show the base fabric color. If your hotel logo has white elements (common with crests and monograms), choose a white or cream fabric so those areas stay clean. On a dark fabric, white becomes whatever color the fabric is.

Not for You If

• You need leather or vinyl surfaces: sublimation prints on polyester-blend fabrics only. If your brand standard requires leather lobby seating, printed cushions aren't the right fit.
• Your logo has fine white details on a dark background: sublimation can't print white. If your logo relies on white lines or text over a dark field, the white will show as the base fabric color. Choose a white fabric, or ask your designer for an inverted version.
• You're outfitting 100+ rooms and need identical reproductions across multiple production runs: sublimation color can shift slightly between batches. For very large orders, we recommend splitting into batches of 20 to 30 and confirming a sample from each batch. This adds time but ensures consistency.
• Your cushions sit in direct outdoor sun (poolside, rooftop): sublimation prints on Outdoor fabric are durable, but prolonged direct UV exposure will fade any print over time. If the cushion gets 8+ hours of direct sun daily, expect color softening after 1 to 2 years.
