Our deep seating chaise cushions are designed for loungers requiring a two-piece set (separate Seat and Back pads). These sets are pattern-matched and tailor-made to your specifications.

Part A: The Chaise Seat

BACK REST AREA Step 2: Width Step 3: Depth

Step 1: Seat Thickness

Select your cushion thickness (2 to 5 inches).

Pro Tip for Armrests: If your chaise has armrests, ensure the cushion isn't too thick, or the arms might feel too low when you sit down. Use the "Book Stack Method" below to test.

Step 2: Chaise Seat Width

Measure the width side-to-side. Measure the actual frame area you want covered, not old cushions.

Step 3: Chaise Seat Depth

Measure the length of the seat from front to back.

Part B: The Chaise Back

Seat Thickness Total Back Height Step 6: Cushion Height

Step 4 & 5: Back Thickness & Width

Select thickness (2-5 inches) and measure the width of the back frame.

Step 6: Back Height (Calculation)

Since the back cushion rests on top of the seat cushion, you must perform this calculation:

Total Frame Height - Seat Thickness = Cushion Height

Example: Chaise Back (24") - Seat Thickness (4") = Order a 20" Back Cushion.

Expert Measuring Tips

 The Book Method

Unsure about thickness? Stack books on your chaise frame until it feels comfortable (and fits under armrests). Measure the stack height to find your ideal cushion thickness.

 Use Rigid Tools

Use a steel carpenter's tape measure or a yardstick. Do not use flexible tailor's tape (cloth tape) as it stretches and causes errors.

 Squared Corners

Standard deep seating chaise cushions come with Squared Corners on both seat and back pads for a modern, clean look.

 Precision

We can adjust dimensions to the ½ inch. If you are between numbers, round up or down to the nearest half inch.
