Our custom hinged chaise lounge cushions feature a connected seat and back with a pinched hinge design. These are ideal for adjustable chaise loungers. We require 4 measurements: Thickness, Width, Seat Depth, and Back Height.

HINGE Step 3: Seat Depth Step 4: Height

Step 1: Chaise Cushion Thickness

Select cushion thickness (2 to 5 inches).

Step 2: Chaise Cushion Width

Measure the width from side to side across the seat.

⚠️
Measure the Frame: Measure the actual chaise frame area you want covered, not your old cushion.

Step 3 & 4: Seat Depth & Back Height

Measure the Seat Depth (the long part) and the Back Height (the adjustable part).

⚠️ Avoid Excessive Overhang (For 3"+ Cushions)

When you angle your chaise back upward, thick cushions pinch at the hinge. This pushes the cushion forward (overhanging the foot area) or up (over the back).

Subtract ½ of the Thickness from BOTH Seat Depth & Back Height

Example: You want a 4" thick cushion.
Your Chaise Frame is 48" Deep (Seat) and 26" High (Back).

Calculation: Deduct 2" (half of 4") from both measurements.
Order Size: 46" Seat Depth, 24" Back Height.

Select Your Corner Shape

Squared Corners 90-degree angle. Standard.
Rounded Corners 6-inch radius on corners.

Expert Measuring Tips

 The Book Method

Stack books on your chaise seat to simulate thickness. Check if it fits under armrests comfortably.

 Use Rigid Tools

Use a steel tape measure. Avoid flexible tailor's tape which can stretch and cause errors on long chaise pads.

 1/2 Inch Precision

We adjust width/depth to the ½ inch. Round measurements to the nearest half-inch.

 No Old Cushions

Old cushions stretch over time. Always measure the metal or wood chaise frame.
