Use this guide for measuring daybeds (often Twin sized frames). We generally require Width (Side to Side) and Depth (Front to Back).
Thickness options range from 2 to 6 inches to suit sleeping or sitting comfort.

BACK WALL / HEADBOARD Step 2: Width Step 3: Depth

Step 1: Daybed Cushion Thickness

Select your cushion thickness (2 to 6 inches).

Note: Thicker cushions (5-6") are recommended if the daybed is frequently used for sleeping.

Step 2: Daybed Cushion Width

Measure the width from side to side (Left Arm to Right Arm).

⚠️
Measure the Frame: Measure the inside of the frame where the cushion will sit. Do not measure an old mattress or cushion.

Step 3: Daybed Cushion Depth

Measure the depth from the front edge to the back (Head to Foot).

Cushion Shape

Squared Corners 90-degree angle. Standard.

Expert Measuring Tips

 The Book Method

Stack books on the slats/platform to test thickness. Ensure the cushion height won't dwarf the armrests or backboard.

 Use Rigid Tools

Use a steel tape measure. Daybeds are long; flexible tapes can sag or twist, causing significant measurement errors.

 1/2 Inch Precision

We adjust width and depth to the ½ inch. Round measurements to the nearest half-inch.

 No Old Cushions

Old mattresses/pads lose shape. Always measure the inside area of the daybed frame.
