Our custom sofa cushion sets consist of 6 pieces: three seat pads and three back pads. We require the Overall Width of your furniture frame to create this set.
Part A: The Sofa Seat
Step 1: Seat Thickness
Select your seat cushion thickness first (2 to 5 inches).
Step 2: Overall Seat Width
Measure the Full Width of the sofa's seating area from side to side.
Step 3: Sofa Seat Depth
Measure the seat depth from front to back.
Part B: The Sofa Back
Step 4 & 5: Back Thickness & Overall Width
Select thickness (2-5 inches) and measure the Overall Width of the back frame.
Step 6: Back Height (Calculation)
To ensure your back cushions fit perfectly on top of your seat cushions, use this formula:
Example: Sofa Back (30") - Seat Thickness (5") = Order 25" Back Cushions.
Expert Measuring Tips
Unsure about thickness? Stack books on your sofa frame until it feels comfortable. Measure the stack height to find your ideal cushion thickness.
Use a steel carpenter's tape measure. Do not use flexible tailor's tape as it stretches and causes sizing errors.
Our sofa cushion sets come with Squared Corners on all seat and back pads for a seamless fit.
Foam flattens and fabric stretches over time. Always measure the furniture frame, not your old cushions.
