Measuring for a round custom tablecloth is simple. We require the Diameter of your table top and your desired Skirt Height (the drop).
Step 1: Table Diameter
Measure straight across the center of the table from edge to edge.
Measure the table surface only. Round the measurement UP to the nearest 1 inch.
Step 2: Skirt Height (Drop)
Measure how far down you want the fabric to hang from the edge of the table. This is called the "Drop".
- Casual / Dining: 8" to 12" drop (Lap length).
- Formal / Event: 29" to 30" drop (Floor length).
- Custom: Measure from the table edge down to your desired point.
Expert Measuring Tips
Ensure your tape measure passes directly over the exact center of the table to get the full diameter.
Always round your Diameter UP to the nearest inch (e.g., if 47.5", order 48").
Use a metal tape measure. Cloth tapes can sag, especially when measuring across a wide table.
