How To Measure For Corner Cushion
Corner pet beds are shaped like a quarter circle to fit snugly into 90° room corners. Because the shape is symmetrical, you only need one dimension — the Width/Length — plus your chosen thickness.
Choose the cushion thickness
Select a thickness between 2 and 5 inches. Thicker options (4 to 5 inches) provide better insulation from cold floors and more joint support for older or larger pets.
Calculate the width / length
The Width and Length are the same number — it is the distance the bed extends along each wall from the corner. Calculate it from your pet's body length rather than measuring an existing bed.
Width / Length = Pet's length (nose to tail) + 8" to 12"
If your pet curls up tightly, add 8". If they stretch out when sleeping, add 12". When in doubt, size up.
Example: A cat that measures 18" nose to tail and curls up → order a 26" width/length. The bed will extend 26" along each wall from the corner.
Check your room corner
Measure the actual wall space in your chosen corner. Make sure the size you calculated fits without blocking outlets, vents, or doorways. The bed extends the same distance along both walls, so check both directions.
Measuring tips
Corner pet beds are made in 1" increments. Round your calculated width/length to the nearest whole inch before entering it at checkout.
In geometric terms, the dimension you are ordering is the radius of the full circle — not the diameter. The curved edge of the bed is the arc of that circle.
Measure from the corner of the room outward along the wall to your target distance. A steel tape stays straight and gives you an accurate wall clearance check.
A bed that is slightly larger than calculated is always better than one that is too small. If your number lands between sizes, choose the larger option.
